Seen throughout the world — across the pages of magazines, billboards and on the runways – the work of Ezio Diaferia supersedes him. Starting a career in hairdressing at the early age of 14, I had my first apprenticeship at a local salon in my hometown of Gravina, in Puglia, in south Italy. In the year 2000, I decided moving to Florence to evolve my career. Starting at Toni&Guy salon as a assistant, quickly I became the Creative Director for Tigi® Italy, with a niche for precision cutting, creative finishing and an eye for the total look. In the course of 8 years, after countless hair shows, seminars and collections, I decided to change the game and move to Milan to pursue a penchant for fashion and session work. Under the guidance of famed stylist Eugene Souleiman, I began an enviable career working with some of the most high-profile fashion labels, models and talent in the fashion industry. Now a days, my work is regularly featured across the pages of Vogue, Glamour, Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar, while he is personally a fixture backstage at fashion shows like Ann Demeulemeester, Yoji Yamamoto, Haider Ackermann, Rochas, Maison Martin Margiela, Nina Ricci, Chloe and Stella McCartney. Recently relocating to New York his new home, I am looking to peruse new opportunities that continue to challenge the industry and blur the boundaries between fashion, beauty and artistry.
